This event “All the Wonderful Things” is an event to celebrate the artists that form the permanent collection here. This is an event to express a heartfelt gratitude for their timely and long standing support for all their endeavors. The exhibition features artists of a diverse nature who graduated and established themselves making a mark for themselves in the time period between the 1960s and 2010s. a mélange of techniques, styles, practices, content, and the distinct impressions of these artists will effectively bring forth an experience that would not only be an aesthetic delight, but an immensely rich learning resource for the uninitiated and connoisseurs alike.
The wide range of variety in the artists and the kind of artworks that form the collection of the charitable organization are mildly indicative of its rich reservoir that it shares with the enthusiasts especially in the healthcare environments of Scotland. Some of the prominent names that feature in this exhibition are Barbara Rae, Carmen Ambrozevich, Matthew Draper and Toby Paterson.
The exhibition would also be the venue for launch of an original Ann Oram prestigious print. This limited edition of the print consists of 75 copies, the sale proceeds from which will go to benefit and support future endeavors of Art in Healthcare.
BTO’s chairman, Alan Borthwick considers this sponsorship for “All the Wonderful Things” as an opportunity for the organization to support the art community and the organization ‘Art in Healthcare’ in its larger goal of creating stimulating spaces that will cast a positive reflection and impact on the patients’ overall health and wellbeing whether in hospitals, hospices, care homes, or medical practices. With this he conveys the best of his wishes for the charity for great success in all its future fundraisers and events.
